Obfuscate

Obfuscate attempts to reduce the chance of email harvestors scraping your website and finding emails. It works behind the scenes to change the encoding of email characters using the WordPress built in function anitspambot. The anitspambot function randomizes portions of the charaters in the email to output as standard html text or html entity codes. If the email is within a mailto link, url encoding is also randomly used.

Although this isn’t a full proof method of not getting your emails harvested, it will help to reduce the likelyhood if it happening, so there is no downside to using it. The Obfuscate plugin will modify the email addresses in your posts, excerpts, comments, rss feed, author email, and commentor email.
